Product Information

Our tank protection bar extension completes, reinforces, and perfects the protection of the Adventure's side panels. This addition to the R 1250 GS Adventure's standard, somewhat limited tank protection bar reliably protects not only the tank but also the fairing. Furthermore, it gives the Adventure a distinctive and individual look. The crash bar is made of 25 mm thick precision stainless steel tubing. We use the upper mounting points of the crash bar so that the shape of the tank protection bar follows a straight line; thus preventing it from being wider and more protruding. A perfect complement – please order separately: The elegantly shaped aluminum filler plate closes the triangular gap between our reinforcement bar, part no. 41873-200, and the Adventure tank protection bar, ensuring that the BMW emblem on the tank is not obstructed. Its technical aesthetics emphasize the structure of the protection bar and also provide additional structural rigidity. It can be ordered separately in black (part no. 41874-102) or silver (part no. 41874-101).
